PDFChai provides a free suite of online PDF tools, including but not limited to:

• Edit — Edit PDF, Rotate PDF, Add Page Numbers, Add Watermark, Crop PDF
• Security — Protect PDF, Unlock PDF, Sign PDF
• Any additional PDF tools added to the platform in the future

All tools run in your web browser. Unlock PDF only removes a password you already know from a file you are entitled to open; you must not use any tool to access documents you have no right to access.

Service Availability

We strive to keep PDFChai available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily suspend the website for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control without prior notice.

We reserve the right to modify, discontinue, or remove any tool or feature at any time without notice.

3 Acceptable Use

You agree to use PDFChai only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict their use and enjoyment of the website.

Prohibited Activities

You must not use PDFChai to:

PDFChai Content

All content on PDFChai — including but not limited to the website design, layout, graphics, logos, icons, tool interfaces, written content, code, and the "PDFChai" brand name — is owned by or licensed to PDFChai and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, display, modify, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit any part of PDFChai's content without our prior written permission.

Tool Outputs

Files you create using PDFChai's tools — such as merged, compressed, converted or signed PDFs — belong to you. We claim no ownership over the outputs generated from your input data.

Your Input Data

You retain full ownership of any data you paste or upload into our tools. As stated in our Privacy Policy, tool input data is processed entirely in your browser and is never transmitted to or stored on our servers.

5 User Content

If you submit content to PDFChai through our contact form, testimonials, or reviews, you grant PDFChai a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, display, and publish that content on our website for promotional and operational purposes.

By submitting content, you confirm that:

• You own the content or have the right to submit it
• The content does not violate any third-party rights
• The content is accurate and not misleading
• The content does not contain any harmful, offensive, or illegal material

We reserve the right to remove any user-submitted content at our discretion without notice.

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in GJ, IN.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
